I recently had to take my Macbook Pro 2010 (Mavericks) into the Apple store and get a clean install and start over (some bugginess was afoot). When I got my laptop back, the computer's name is now "apple's Macbook Pro" which is a horrible name and I hate it.

Is there any way I can change it? It's not the hard drive (I re-named that again with "get info" etc).

For ex: if I go finder >> go >> computer, the folder is named "apple's Macbook Pro"

Go to System Preferences->Sharing->computer name
