How to change number of times notification repeats itself

I have a new Iphone 5s . I sometimes get text messages from job in the middle of the night and it is important that I respond to them. I would like the text message notification sound to repeat itself 3 or 5 times so that I wake up, and I do not find a way to change that in IOS 7. It only enables me to change the notification sound, but not the number of times the notification sound repeats itself. I previously had a blackberry which enabled me to do this .

Any thoughts?

settings > notification center > messages > repeat alerts > never, 1, 2, 3, 5, 10....enjoy.

I saw that the alerts repeat at 2 min intervals
Is there any way to have it repeated , say, every second or two, almost like how your phone rings?
Like: ding,ding, ding, ding
instead of ding -2 min- ding -2 min- ding.

1. Wait for the iOS 7 jailbreak.
2. Jailbreak your iPhone.

There are options, but only if you are jailbroken. Otherwise, this is your only option.

Why not change your SMS alert tone to something like a normal ringtone which rings for 30 seconds. This might wake you up maybe?
