How to change Office Product key and reactivate

So how do i change the officer product key and reactivate it. I have removed my old hacked version and am trying to install my new fancy Office 2008 but it seems that it wont let me put in the new product key. This is the last product on my computer i have transitioned to fully legal.
Had no problems with Adobe Flash (i have a full copy of Design Standard CS3 licensed but needed flash for 2 weeks over the 30 day trial, now purchased Adobe Web Premium CS4).

Worked it out:

Delete these two files:

~:Libraryreferences:Microsoft:Office 2008:Microsoft Office 2008
Settings.plist

where ~ is your home folder, and

HD:Applications:Microsoft Office 2008:Office:OfficePID.plist

just out of curiosity why did you change everything to fully legal now?

Yep everything i own is legal and it is noting about conscience its just about the time frame i had for buying these applications in line with when i needed them meant that illegally downloading them was much quicker as a short term solution.

I am running MSOffice2008 on Lion and this does not work for me.
When I start Office again it know the old product Key and does not ask for a new one.

Any ideas?
