Hey guys, I've been trying to change the drive icon of my PSP, candybar doesn't work as it doesn't recognize external/removable drives and when I try to get info>copy& paste it comes up with the 'icns' preview icon. Help guys?

Where are you copying it from, exactly?

I have my icns icon on my desktop, I go into the get info on the icon, then I press Command C to copy it, I exit that, go into the get info on my PSP, click on the icon in the top left hand corner of the window (the blue band shows up around it) . I then press command v to paste it but the icns preview icon comes up...

Don't Get Info on the .icns file, since it already is an icon. Just click it once to select it, then Command-C.

Open the .icns file in Preview, click on it, press CMD+A, press CMD+C and then do the rest GGJstudios advised to do.

That doesn't do anything.

UPDATE : I've done it! I downloaded 'icns2icon' , Google it, now I finally, after an hours work have a PSP icon on the PSP on my Mac! Yaay!

Nope, still getting the icns preview icon..
If you've already tried pasting something on that icon, to revert back to the original icon, simply click on the custom icon and press Delete. Then do this:
ScreenCap 22.PNGScreenCap 23.PNG

I was doing what you two just showed in your previous posts to no avail, I've done it now using a program called ''icns2icon''

Thanks for the help :)
