How to change the gamma of ColorSync Profile?

Right now I have David's profile on my Macs which is a very good profile. I just wonder is it possible to change the gamma of a ColorSync profile to a different gamma setting. Like from 2.2 to 1.8? I would just like to see how it looks with 1.8 gamma while the rest of the colour settings of David's Profile are the same.
