The stock 1920x1200 resolution is really amazing except it makes it extremely hard to read anything due to the very very small text size.

Is there anyway to keep the 1920 x 1200 resoltuion while increasing the size of icons/text?

I know you can do this in Windows 7, but does leopard have an option?

I'm not sure how to do a universal font size increase. I'm currently am using a windows machine while waiting for my machine to be replaced so I can't look around.

However, in Safari hold two fingers on the trackpad and move them away from each other in a diagonal shape.

I had the same problem..
Most of the OS is good.. but web pages are SUPER SMALL.

I found the following solution.

Use Firefox and load an extension called : "nosquint"

It automatically zooms in all webpages for you, so you don't need to do it manually..
I use 150% setting for most things, and 130% for some others..
I love it.

OMG. Thank you so much, man! :)

Everything is so much better now. I was about to go look for a pair of bifocals.

brilliant!

train your eyes. after awhile you will get a hang of it. if you have problems reading things on safari use the pinch and expand gesture. then again i have been using 1920x1200 for a couple years now.

Right click the desktop, choose personalize, and then choose "Adjust Font Size (DPI)" on the left hand side. You'll have to click "Continue" on a UAC prompt and then you can increase the system-wide font size / DPI. Oh, wait, nvm
