If your like me you may prefer to have the time in 12 hour clock so it says AM and PM after the time instead of 24 hour clock... this is NOT possible if the region is set to UK.

For some reason Apple have decided that we DO NOT use am and pm and that we can't even have the option to turn off the 24 hour clock.

Solution? Well if you change the international region to US then you can use 12 hour clock but when you dial a number it will have dashes in all the wrong places!

Well it turns out that if you set your region as "Hong Kong" not only can you get am and pm but ALL the numbers are formated perfectly!
