My girlfriend and I are taking a camping road trip but I will need to use my computer during the day. Since we are camping, I won't be able to charge it (sorry to state the obvious). Our car has a 12V lighter adapter. I've searched the forums and it seems like I need a DC inverter and then I can just plug my computer charger into that. I have a macbook pro. I looked at inverters on amazon, but was confused about what kind exactly I need. What sort of specs do I look for? Also, is there anything I should be careful about in regards to my car? Any help or suggestions is greatly appreciated.
