i can't seem to get some of my PCI cards to run properly in slots 2 and 3 on my PM. is there a way to check if the slots are even working properly so i know it isn't the card that's the problem? what should apple profiler tell me about the cards at those slots? if it's seeing it, then it should be working, right? HELP?

Slots 2 and 3 should be the 100MHz PCI-X slot and 4 the 133-MHz PCI-X slot.

May have an issue in the 100MHz slots.

Of course it could simply be the way Apple supplies power to the PCI slots if you have a 9800 or 6800 video card -- if you have either of these cards, the available Watts to the PCI slots is drastically reduced.

from what i understand, i can put most cards in slots 2 and 3, right? even if they're running at 33 or 66-MHz. i have a 9600 pro so the power shouldn't be a problem. hmm...
