Using an app like Coconut Battery on the Mac (while the device is connected to it) is probably the best way at this time.

Click to expand... O ok I thought you could do it directly from the iPhone, I don't have a mac or even a computer for that matter.

There are apps like Battery Life that you can use on the phone itself, but they don't appear to be all that accurate these days and don't really show some information at all, like cycle counts, for example (at least not so far as of iOS 10).
