If you have the Best Buy iPhone app, all of the new iPhones are listed and you can click on "Check Stores" to see what stores nearby have the model you want in stock.

This is probably not updated very often (daily?) and who knows how accurate it is. But all of the different models of 5s and 5c have different availability at stores near me. The Galaxy Note 3, another product that isn't out yet, is listed as unavailable at all stores. These don't seem like placeholders.

This might come in handy tomorrow if you're looking to buy a specific color/capacity/carrier combination.

don't see a way to check 5s availability

Worked for me. You have to click on the item itself. The one by me has the phone I want, but I'm still going to Apple to be on the safe side.

Oh. I guess the store by me is only getting 16GB and 64GB in Space Grey. The first 6 I checked said none were available.
