I have a few gb of data a month... just three gb a month. I don't use data much so rarely if ever go over it. What i do know is on the iphone, you can check your cellular data and it shows the current period of data being used. I have an old iphone SE. And once the month is over... i reset statistics so it would show me starting with 0gb of data.
So let say so far in the month i used up 568mb of data... it shows that. But when i use more than l gb of data... it would show say
l.6gb of data. Is there a way to know exactly how much gb i used? Like l.678 or l.698gb etc? I want to know exactly how much data im using to the MB. Is there a way to do this? Also... i also heard the iphone data usage is not accurate? Is that true or false? So i need to download an app for that?
Another thing is this. I recently was tethering my data with my laptop when my internet was out. I done this many times and when i do this, i make sure im not streaming something on my computer which would obviously eat up the data. But for some reason it kept eating so much data. I then went to the setting of turning off background refresh which did help. But do i need to turn off data for all the other apps such as don't have cellular on for my apps? Previously when i tethered on my iphone SE to my laptop... this never happened. I would rarely go over say 50mb an hour when i tether it on laptop. But recently.. it was using up like 50mb every ten minutes or so.
