How to check if unlocked iphone 5s is in stock in ny stores?

i have someone who will be around 8 oct in nyc so im thiking to buy 5s in any of nyc apple store unlocked version,but i dont know if apple have them on stock so i can check that since there is no email adress on their web site so i can contact them,and i can see on their site they are selling tmobile version as unlocked? there is no more factory unlocked iphones?
