How to check UPS or Fedex to see if phone shipped?

For Verizon wireless customers who bought off VZW how can you check to see if it really shipped? My card has not been charged.

Many can use your cell phone as the reference number.

Not much use in it as Apple is very dependable at getting you device to you on the date promised.

Until the phone is actually shipped you cannot really get any info from UPS or FedEx. Once it is shipped each of these shippers has an app and you could use it to find out all the info you desire. However, when it is shipped you will receive an email with a tracking number so the app is not really needed.

You can sign up with both Fedex and UPS for shipping alerts. The moment a shipping label is printed with your address you'll receive a notification. In my experience this almost always occurs well ahead of the notification from the company with which you purchased an item. It is also much easier to request holds and diversions once you have an account.
