How to clean install or make a bootable usb ML ?

hi i just purchased the mountain Lion from the app store
now I'm quite confused how to do a clean install with it ?
normally i clean install using a DVD or a USB flash drive
now how to make the DVD or USB flash drive of the Mountain lion the i just downloaded ?

i want to do a clean install so that my machine can run to it fullest capacity.

btw I'm on MBP unibody 15" mid 2009, running 10.7.4

please give some inputs, thanks .

Lion's disk utility can make ML boot usb's natively, but if that's not enough
