I've been using mine for almost a year now. It's not dirty or anything, but it feels like it's time for a cleaning.

What kind of materials is this case made from?

I used a leather cleaner on my iPad 2 model and the "bonded" leather or whatever it is started peeling off almost immediately thereafter. I suggest just using mild detergent. Seriously...these things aren't "real" leather the way you think they are.

Wow - that sucks.

Yoobao cases are made of something called bicast/bycast leather. Its basically the last possible layer of leather off the cut of the hide and is incredibly thin. This is then bonded to vinyl. They are "genuine leather" the way a sheet of particle board is "genuine wood."

The cases are what they are. For the money, its not much different than vinyl but sounds 'fancier' because it contains leather.
