I have an 8GB Touch, tried synching with Outlook, mostly ok but now I don't use outlook anymore and I'd like to clear the calendar & memo data from my ipod touch.

I can restore as new, but I'm wondering if I lose one of my authorized devices, etc. What about downloaded apps, etc? will those be reinstalled somehow if I resync with itunes?

thanx in advance.

In iTunes select your iPod Touch under Devices and click on the info tab. Uncheck whatever information you want deleted.

iPods aren't counted as authorized devices for the purposes of the five computer limit. One may install apps onto an unlimited amount of iPhones/iPod Touches—as long as iTunes is using the original purchasing account.

If you're running OS 3.x on the Touch and using iTunes 9.x then all of your apps will be re-installed (and in the proper layout) when you restore the device from a backup.
