How to close and set up new account with out ...?

Hi,
I bought a new Macbook Pro, for my old Macbook, I will give it to my family, how can I close my account and set up a new account for my family with out lost the photos and music, because the family still want to keep it in the Macbook, please help.

Go to system settings>accounts>click the lock>then the plus sign and add a new account and make your password that only you know so only you can access your current account.
