Looks like I finally get a MBP tomorrow. I´ll need it to off load footage from a Sony EX camera, using the express card instead of USB will be a huge advantage from now on.

I do most of my editing (I´m a cameraman/DP so I don´t do that much) on a MP, but when I get a MBP it would be nice to start editing while still on location.
Specially the project I´m shooting now as the director is based in Paris and I´ll go back home to Norway between shooting periods. It would be good to show him some rough cuts while there

Is there a good way to combine the MBP and the MP?
How do I avoid messing up where files are stored etc?
Anyone have some experience in this?
