Turn iPhone off completely then turn back on. If it is still there after that then reinstall iBooks enter it delete books or PDFs that might still be inside then delete the app.

I have a Verizon 4S and would love to delete iBooks - I cannot find it in settings>usage>apps in order to delete it.

Is there another way to get rid of it?

Is there a problem on your phone with just tapping and holding until it jiggles and then tapping the X to delete it?

It's Gone now

 lol how this could happen? i just install an app, then i rebooted many times , turning off the device, blablabla it doesn't work but today i install an app, rebooting and it's gone :D lol
