How To Completely Remove Incomplete Download in Safari

I hit the download window in the top right and hit the X to stop the download. Then I hit Clear.

Is there any way to completely remove an incomplete download or is that the only way to remove it?

Once stopped (if the download is unfinished) you can check the "Downloads" folder and see if any files from the download are there. If not, they have been cleared by "X" the download and clearing the download menu in Safari.
