Hi all;

Is there a way to give my users access to 3rd party preference panes using the Server's policies?

Currently I control everything that is apple related from the server worldgroup manager. My users have access to the PrefPanes that I want to give them access to. For example, they can add a printer, but not change the Network configs.

I am having a huge issue though with 3rd party panes, like for example Logitech Control Center for the MX Revolution Mouse.

My users see the prefpane, but its greyed out and they can't click on it.

I guess my question is how I can add that preference pane to the access policies on OSX so that they can use it.

I have looked every where but it doesnt seem like a subject that is easy to find.

Thanks!
