I have had some problems with my Airport Express dropping connection a few times a week which only could be resolved by unplugging it.
This doesn't go very well with streaming music so I just bought an Airport Extreme (a good excuse to get one
).
Now to the question, since I don't really trust my Express I have configured it to expand the network with a ethernet cable from the Extreme and disabled the wireless function on it. It's just sitting 50 cm from each other so I guess I don't need the wireless turned on?
Do I lose any bandwidth by doing like this or anything I haven't thought of?
