Apologies if this has been covered in another thread, but I've been unable to find the answer anywhere on the net, including this forum.
Unless I'm having a blond moment, in order to be able to send emails you need different outgoing servers when on wifi and 3G. I've been trying to configure my POP account twice on the iPhone - one account for when on wifi specifying my ISP's outgoing mail server, and one for when on 3G specifying the 3G provider's outgoing mail server - but the device pops up an error message saying:
"The POP account "xxxxx" is already configured
Press Edit to change the account settings, or press Cancel to stop configuring a new POP account"
So how do I get the same email account to work for sending emails on both wifi and 3G? I'm having the same trouble on my iPad 3G.
If someone has the answer - I owe you a beer.
Thanks in advance.
