Hi,

I have a late 2011 MacBook pro, it has 2 usb, 1 thunderbolt, 1 ethernet and 1 firewire connections, my TV is an LG smart TV, it has 3 HDMI, 2 USB, scart and component/AV in connections.

What would i need to connect the 2 together so i can watch things from my laptop on my TV?

Thanks

Assuming its a 1080p TV (your machine won't run a 4K TV) then you just need a Mini Display Port to HDMI cable.

Such as this
