how to connect apple cinema display to macbook pro???

Just got a 20" Apple Cinema Display LCD that didnt come with the power cord. It has a usb, firewire, DVI and the cable to connect the power supply. What is the best way to connect this screen to my MacBook Pro? Is it possible to have it powered through my laptop?

That depends which model of MacBook Pro you have. You may need to buy an adapter.

Do you have the power brick for the screen? If not you need to buy one, as well as a power cable for it, most likely from eBay. If you have a unibody MacBook Pro you'll need the mini-displayport to DVI adapter to use it.
