How to connect MacBook/MacMini to old TV

Hello,

we've got a really old TV that pretty much only has SCART inputs. What I'm trying to do is to be able to connect my MacBook (has mini-DVI out) and/or my Mac Mini (also has mini-DVI out) to that TV so that I can play movies etc. on my laptop and have the video and audio come out of the TV (which has built-in speakers).

So what I basically need is:

mini-DVI ->
X -> TV
audio ->

I don't really know a lot about video etc.

What kind of adaptors do I have to buy to make this work?

I realize that you just escaped from Aperture Science, but we have rules. One of which being to search before posting, as not only is there another thread about this exact topic right now, but there have been dozens in the past.

Depending on how new this computer is, you'll need Mini DisplayPort to DVI, DVI to Composite, and then Composite to SCART.
