How to connect Power Mac G5 to LED Cinema Display with mini display port?

As the title says, I need a new monitor for my old G5 as the old monitor for it went bust. Apple does not make the old displays that came with the unit anymore and the only available monitor is the new LED ones — but they all come with mini display ports.

Is there an adapter available for it?

Though I think technically it'll be impossible to create a simple adapter yet keep the display quality high, simply because the singnals used in a mini DisplayPort or a standard DisplayPort are different from the output of an DVI/ADC connector.

I think it'll be cheaper to buy a secondary monitor/display.

Jeesh. For that price you can just buy a 23" HD monitor....

But you won't get the quality that the ACDs have. Try picking up a refurb or used 23" DVI Aluminum ACD. I've seen those for around $400.
