Hello guys,

I'm trying to connect my mbp to internet and I need to set the MAC address in the router settings but when i go to 192.168.0.1 for the setup with admin login it logs me to another router that is not mine (someone in this house - dont know who) so how can I make sure that I connect to the correct one so I can set it up?

Is there a way to do that pls?

Yes.
One effective way would be to temporarily turn off your wifi and connect to the correct router directly with an Ethernet cable. If you need to you can purchase a Thunderbolt > Ethernet adapter. Once you finish setting up the router and adding it to your wireless network list, you can disconnect the Ethernet cable and use wifi instead. Also, just for the sake of saying it, you can double-check you have the correct IP for your router brand.

Good luck.

Thank you for the tip. Ethernet didn't come to my mind so thank you for that.
I was able to solve it so now it all works fine.
thank you :)
