I have a mbp with a screwed up hard drive (yes, that is as specific I can be, apple tech support had trouble finding the issue) I have a second mac and programs like Data Rescue II but, I don't have the firewire 400 to firewire 800 cable - I was wondering if there was another way of connecting to the mbp to access the hard drive in a similar way as taret disc mode but, through lan. Thanks in advance :)

UPDATE: Could I possibly use target disc mode the same way the macbooks without firewire do? (no clue how they do that)
