How to connect two computers to one monitor

I want to hook a a mac pro and a mac mini to a 23 inch ACD. What do I need as a switch box? Thanks for any input.

You need a KVM switch. A USB KVM will even allow you to connect both computers to the same monitor, keyboard and mouse and switch between computers with just the push of a button.

Either pick up a KVM or try using Synergy

Thanks. My intent is to run dual 23's on my mac pro but to be able to switch one over to a mac-mini when my kids want to use it. They'd have a seperate mouse/keyboard.

usb kvm

cheaper ones are with vga ports
more expensive ones are with dvi ports

Check the location of the ports.
Some of the KVM on the market are a bit awkward in design.
