How to connect two Macs via thunderbolt?

Hi,

I'm wandering can i connect two Macs via Thunderbolt port?
I have rMB Pro 13 and MB Air 13 (2010) both with Thunderbolt.
What i want is to start MB Air in FireWire mode holding cmd+T on booting.Than access the hard drive from the MB Pro.
Can i?
