Hi,

I have a Power Mac G5 Quad that I'm using to record to MiniDiscs. I was wondering how I can control the sampling frequency on the optical output. Since my source audio is FLAC files at 16 bit 44.1KHz, I'd like to force the optical output to those same settings. I don't even know how to check what settings the optical output is using, let alone how to control those settings. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

No one? I'm really disappointed that Apple computers are supposedly for creative professionals like musicians, but they seem to lack some of the most basic controls and features.

OK. I got it figured out. The MIDI/Audio Utility is used to control the sampling frequency and bit depth.
