Hey all,
First post here.. was wondering if there's any way to convert my library from .mp3 (mostly 192k) to .aac ( probably 160k) to make some space on my new iPod nano (8 GB).

Problem is, i want to keep my play counts and date added information.

Using the "Convert selection to..." in iTunes doesn't preserve this info... any ideas will be greatly appreciated

If you have the original source, you can re-import, copy over the files, and keep the info.

Nope, unfortunately about 75% are mp3's from friends, and downloaded off the internet... any ideas?
