I ma getting a new mbp and want to change my fat32 windows xp to ntfs. I made a mistake when I first set up windows boot camp partition on my first mbp.
I keep my windows disk backed up using Winclone on an external hd.

NOw that I think of it, because the MBPs are different I will not be able to copy over my partition anyways and expect it to work properly on the new mac, right?

Try this. But if you want to change the partition on which bootcamp runs, you'll have to reinstall XP anyway... so in the process you can now specify you want NTFS.

Not necessarily... check this thread out: Snow Leopard can read/write in NTFS formatted drives/partitions natively, but it has to be manually enabled.
