How to Copy DVD Movies to Hard Drive

I tried iTunes, iDVD and Front Row, but I can't figure out how do load my movies onto my hard drive.

Can someone give me some pointers?

MacTheRipper, RipIt and Fairmount for ripping (copying)

Handbrake (+VLC) for encoding it into an iTunes friendly format.

MRoogle and its little sister will give you more detailed information.

There's a basic guide here.

I like Mac DVDRipper Pro for ripping. It's not free, but at $10, it's affordable. So far I haven't found anything it wouldn't rip.
