I'm trying to copy a video taken on an iPhone 5 to an iPod touch 4th gen. I've copied the video to my MacBook Air and it's in iPhoto. I just can't work out how to copy it to the iPod touch.

I've connected the iPod touch, but can't copy the file over. I do NOT want to sync the ipod with the laptop (it's not my ipod) just want to copy a video over.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Are both the iPod and iPhone linked to the same iMessage?

If not then iMessage it from the iPhone to the iPod.

If they are on the same iMessage then send the video from the iPhone to someone else also using iMessage, then when you pick up the iPod the iMessages will synchronise and the video should be showing in the conversation on your iPod, you can then save it into your camera role.

is it possible to send video through imessage?
I thought with icloud, u can practically auto upload any pic or video on all idevice you owned through photo stream.

Still, ipod touch 4 can only play 720 mp4 i think. Im not sure what quality video iphone 5 can record.
