how to copy phone number from sim card to iphone

Guys,

I just got a new sim card from ATT. They told me that I need to use the new SIM card starting this month. I called them, they activated the new SIM. Now I want to keep all my contacts(numbers and emails). I'm not sure if they're on my old SIM card or on the iPhone(3GS). So I do I move/keep all my contacts without writing every one of them down and manually save them on the new SIM? Or is there anyway i can save my numbers on the iPhone so I never lose them?

The numbers are on the iPhone. A simple test of swapping out the SIM cards would have giving you the answers.
