When you sync photos from iTunes to an iPad, you can not delete photos on the iPad itself. I can sort of understand why, but it defeats the purpose. I want to load a bunch of photos onto the iPad, and I want to use it to throw away the bad ones.

The problem is the concept of syncing. I don't want to sync photos. Instead, I just want to copy photos to the iPad, so that I can do whatever I want with those photos on the iPad. How can I do that quickly?

I downloaded Simple Transfer:
http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/simple-transfer/id411292121?mt=8

It does what I need it to do, but it's a bit slow. Takes like a minute/picture. Is there something that does what Simple Transfer does, but at the speed of iTunes sync?
