Anyone have an idea? I want to create a playlist in iTunes to find all the songs I have that don't have art work. I couldn'd find an option when creating a smart playlist to do this. This might have to be something I'll submit to Apple to add to the next iTunes release.

Hmm... Nope, doesn't seem to be a way to do this. It is a really good idea though, I hope we see it emerge in later updates of iTunes! :D

I'd like to ask the opposite.

How do you ADD artwork?

For some reason you cannot simply pull album covers off iTunes and add them yourself. How do you do it. Apple raves on about it but I'm left scratching my head.

I feel like you are onto the right thing. I found that entry that is about 3 or 4 down that I think will solve the problem. But when I download the script, I either don't know which program to open it with or don't have the program that can. Any suggestions?

download this script unzip it and you should have a file called "no artwork playlist" it should open in the "Script Editor" when its opened hit the green run button. Note it make take some time if you have a large library.

1, use Clutter
or
2, select the album or track, apple+i, then drag the artwork into the artwork box.

thanks!

That worked perfect, and was kinda cool to watch too! If only I could remember any of the computer programming class I took, I might have been able to write a script similar to that one. Thanks again.
