Hey guys..

So, I had started to fuss around with the alarm on my iPhone 3g hoping I could get it to go off for a silent alarm. Like a "To Do" and just vibrate with no sound.

I am not sure if this has been discussed before, but this is a short "how to."

I love the feature, that even if you leave for phone on vibrate, the alarm will still go off in the morning. However, while Im at school or work, sometimes I want a silent (vibrate alarm) to go off.

I did this by creating a "mute" ringtone. Go into Garageband and take one of the ringtones you made before and lower the master volume to "0." This will in essence create a silent or muted ringtone. Now whenever you need an alarm to vibrate ONLY, just set that particular alarm to the silent ringtone you just created!

Hope this helps.

Or you could just a regular ringtone and put the volume down to 1... I can barely even hear it in my pocket.
