chagrin falls, oh
I searched on here but really can't seem to find the answer to this and I'm sure it's VERY easy.... I need to put a "TM" (without the quotes) in a document in Pages. In Work, I just put (tm) and it automatically made the TM smaller and placed it where it should go. I can't find for the life of me how to do this in Pages! What am I missing?
Thanks

In Pages, go to Auto-Correction in Preferences and check the "symbol and text substitution" box, you'll find the shortcuts for each symbol there as well.

Option+2 is good to know, because that'll work in all apps, but just for reference, Pages will convert TM (in caps) to ™. Actually, I just discovered that the system-wide text substitution will do it as well, in Snow Leopard. Pain in the butt while I'm trying to explain it to you, too. :p
