How to deactivate the second layer of security on iPhone 6s+

So I was activating my iPhone 6s+ and accidentally pressed to option of activating the second layer of security and I received some message from apple with a code, Just before I post a post on apple forum it asked me about activation code and my iphone showed that someone is trying to use my apple id. How to deactivate this? thanks

To disable this, you’ll have to go to www.icloud.com and log in to your account. From there, toggle off “Two Factor Authentication.”

appleid.apple.com is the correct website. Just was there turning it on, as I received an e-mail from Apple saying they were going to automatically switch me from 2SV to 2FA, and did not want to deal with it and new iOS at same time/day.
