How to deal with leading zeroes in Numbers '09?

I have a column of cells whose numbers were stripped of their leading zero. Either that, or there never was a leading zero and I need to add one in to a section of the column. How can I do this in Numbers '09 and/or Excel 2011? Thanks!

Sounds like you need to change the cell format- try a couple of different ones and see which works.
