Hi there,

Sorry if this is in the wrong spot/etc, I'm new here. I just transferred my music & photos from my old iMac to my new MacBook Pro via an ethernet cable. Everything seemed fine until I opened up iTunes on the MacBook- it added around 2,000 duplicates!!! Since they were all "added" on the same day I can't select "Exact Duplicates" and then sort by date and delete... Help!!!! Is there any way to fix this without going through and manually deleting each one of the extra 2,000 songs?

Any help is appreciated, Thanks.

I just noticed that my playlists/i Phone apps didn't transfer. How do I do that?

there are a bunch of scripts floating around the web that can help with duplicates - including several threads on MR. do a search and I'm sure it'll pop up
