I can't delete a file stored on my company server, when I drag it to the trash it won't accept to delete it immedately as it otherwise does usually with files stored on the server.
I am allowed to delete it and can otherwise delete files from that folder without a problem. It shows a lock icon in the command + I, info pannel, but I can't unquote the lock as it is grayed out.

Any insights ?
Thanks,
Eggy

Do you have admin access to the server? If the lock is greyed out, then it seems you don't have proper permission to unlock and delete it.

If it allows you to move to the trash, but won't actually delete, there may be a way to do it. Follow these trash troubleshooting steps

This this Apple page for a potential solution using Terminal. The main command you'll need is,
Code:
sudo chflags -R nouchg filename.ext
