I had to create a test administrative log in name during an Apple troubleshooting chat. Now I want to remove it but it won't delete. All I want to keep is my other administrative log in name, not have two of them.

Do you mean you created another admin account on your Mac? If so, go to System Preferences > Accounts and delete the test account.

I should have been more clear. Are you logged in as another Administrator, or are you logged in under the account you're trying to delete? You might also try restarting your Mac and trying it again.

I am logged in as another administrator. I will try restarting my MBP.

UPDATE: Restarting my MBP solved my problem and I was now able to highlight the other log in so I could delete it.

Thanks for all your help!
