I'm still on Sonoma (latest update available) and I am not willing to update to Sequoia. I have applied a couple of profiles to help me avoiding this, but it seems that even though I do have DISABLED automatic downloads of the MacOS through profiles, the computer have downloaded it anyway (an old version of the OS) (The decrease of available free space on my HD seems to confirm this fact). Is there a way to get rid of this downloaded installer? As mentioned before I am using a Mac Mini M1 with Sonoma on its latest available version.
Please, check the images below to understand better what I mean about the installer (the installer is NOT in the Applications folder, it's probably downloaded and hidden somewhere in my HD). I have also a second question: How on Earth could my Mac have downloaded a new version of the OS even with settings enforced by profiles to NOT to? Can any expert ou power user enlighten me, please?
Thanks in advance to whom may be able to help me.
