How to delete moon phase?

Received a new watch for Xmas, and am using the blue California face. I notice that there's a moon phase on the lower half of it, but can't find a way to delete it. Any ideas would be most welcome!

Press and hold on the watch face. Tap customise. Swipe to the relevant customisation option and change it.

Go into the watch app and select California watch face then scroll to the bottom and change sub-dial bottom. You can then hit set as current watch face. Or you can press on the watch face from your wrist and customize should come up. Then scroll over to the last screen and there should be 2 complications. Select the bottom one and then use the crown to change to whatever you prefer.
