How to Delete my Data from my MBP ?

I am giving my MBP to my cousin for some days, But I wanna make sure that he does not have access to my data i.e. notes, photos, iCloud etc...so if i sign out from iCloud on my MBP all my notes and Photos which I had saved. Will it be deleted from my MBP ? How do I stop him from not viewing my MBP and iCloud Data ?

Check out this KB article from apple. It details the steps needed to basically wipe the computer and make sure its not associated with your apple id.
